| Since 1959, CHENG SENG TRADING CO., LTD., has been established in Taipei, Taiwan for 49 years. The founder, Mr. Chi Min Chiu, was devoted to opening the market for photo/darkroom equipments by representing world-famous and professional brands of Japan, Europe and America and introducing them into Taiwan market, and has built a good market reputation.
The founder, Mr. Chi Min Chiu, was retired in 1981. Mrs. Michelle Chen, the granddaughter-in-law of Mr. Chi Min Chiu, succeeded to the presidency, following the founder’s principles of “Integrity, Sincerity and Sustainable Operation,” reconstructed company organization, laid down long-term company strategies and goals, expanded business territories, and explored new video/ film market; and Cheng Seng had been growing steadily ever since.
In 1984, Mr. Yang-Tzu Chiu, after taking the role of Managing Director, increased company capital, reached from the consumer market of photo/darkroom to the professional field by representing and importing relative lighting equipments especially for video/ broadcasting/ film industries. Our efforts and professional services are recognized by customers and praised by professionals from different industries.
In recent years, with the opening of cable TV market, the professional market is growing. Following the development of APROC (Asia Pacific Region Operation Center), we have been importing professional equipments for Film, TV, Broadcasting, and Digital imaging products to serve our customers and increasing our representing brands. In 2005, we invested and set up Beijing Cheng Seng Trading Co., Ltd., our branch office in Beijing, China, and worked together with foreign manufacturers/ suppliers for exhibitions and seminars in order to provide instant information and service to customers.
